My Approach and Background
I explored many different career paths before discovering acupuncture. Following my endocrinologist's advice, I tried alternative therapies such as yoga and meditation to manage a chronic autoimmune condition. My deep interest in nature and plants flourished as I sought relief from the constant autoimmune related fatigue that burdened me. When I started receiving regular treatments as an acupuncture student, I never anticipated how profoundly it would transform my perspective on life and healing. I found a renewed sense of control over my health and wellbeing, and now, as a licensed acupuncturist, I guide patients in finding their own path forward.
“So wise souls are good at caring for people, never turning their back on anyone. They’re good at looking after things, never turning their back on anything. There’s a light hidden here.”
— Laz Tzu, Tao Te Ching translated by Ursula K. Le Guin
